We sometimes forget the beauty, characteristics and the truly fascinating nature of our own home country and how "exotic" it is often perceived by people from other countries.
I endeavour to approach and capture the forests, coastlines and farmland in my homely surroundings with the same curiosity and open-mindedness, as if I had traveled thousands of miles to experience natural habitats in unknown places. The light and the angle, the time of the day and the changes of the seasons makes the nature appear different each time. This is the reason why I re-visit and repeatedly return to the same locations with my camera. Finding great motives and taking extraordinary shots in nature can only planned to a certain degree.
Some of the below motives can be found decorating the walls of the courts of Hillerød and Helsingør, others have found their way to magazines or private homes.
