Democracy was suspended for decades in Myanmar, former Burma. Elections held in November 2015 let us think these days are over. Many people still suffer for poverty and stick to here hopes for a peaceful future. Education is on of the most important factors in this transformation. Local schools run by Buddhist monks are making a difference - but they are in deep need of funding and peace to work. As lack of education is a major reason to widespread use of child labor, this must be at focus area for the new government as for foreign actors.
